Evidence of Trust African Market began with a simple act of faith inside a small Nigerian home in Boston.
Founded by Funmi, an immigrant mother guided by her Christian faith and inspired by the memory of her late husband, our story is one of resilience, hope, and unwavering trust in God’s provision.
What started as a few bags of African groceries stacked neatly in her living room quickly grew into a lifeline for the African community around her. With every sale, every prayer whispered, and every customer welcomed, Funmi built not just a business — but a ministry of service, culture, and connection.
Her vision was clear: create a place where Africans in the diaspora could feel at home.
